This week I’ve been prepping for a shoot that I’m both styling for and modelling in which I love because I know exactly how the model will look and feel in the outfits! It’s a dreamy time of year to have a project like this because it means that I have to trawl the shops and sites to see what’s happening in the new season collections (spring, finally, you’re so nearly here!) The shops are full-to-bursting with fresh and exciting new season trends: pastels, florals, western styling and trenches in different colours and fabrics. Yesterday I went to into River Island to see what’s new, it may not be a place you shop in often but in the past couple of years it has become my go-to for specific things: tailoring, outerwear and shoes. In the past I have found some real treasure; pieces that look a look more expensive than they are (you’ll walk away with several pieces for £100.)
