So-Soft and Dreamy for Spring – MANSUR GAVRIEL

I first came across this leather brand on Instagram, quite recently to be honest – (check their feed out @MansurGavriel – it was the bright red ‘Flamma Bucket Mini Mini’ held by the beautiful brunette that caught my eye.) Since that moment, as is always the way, I now see Mansur Gavriel’s handbags everywhere from bloggers like Susie Lau of Susie Bubble to the girls at VOGUE. As if by fate (this is what I do when I really want to buy something that I know I shouldn’t) – they arrived in my inbox via Vogue.com; their brand-new collection of footwear has finally landed exclusively on Net-A-Porter.

The footwear collection revolves around the mule; the nineties slip-on shoe that is the epitome of minimal dressing. The New York-based designers Rachel Mansur & Floriana Gavriel are inspired by “the contrast of warm, natural textures and the clear, clean intensity of pop colors” and committed to creating a beautiful fabrication and finish of their designs; super-soft leather and suedes in rich tones, candy colours, neutrals and of course, black. I feel like I have seen so many of their crossover flat black design , Celine did them for spring and every high street shop did their own version.
