The weather was so divine it genuinely felt appropriate to have the spring/ summer 2018 collections on the catwalk; the sun shone and London Fashion Week felt especially bright and exciting this season.
Organising myself before London Fashion Week is oft very last minute and involves me scanning my wardrobe on the Thursday evening and wishing I had organised a spray tan. I love fashion week because from the Friday to Tuesday you can wear whatever you want to, whatever your heart desires because anything (literally anything) goes! This season I styled out lots of different outfits from a cosy knit over a slinky slip dress to striped trousers with tailoring and oversized earrings and head-to-toe pink with a side of velvet. Fashion week is as good a time as ever to properly enjoy and experiment with your clothes, perhaps mix ‘n’ matching pieces that you wouldn’t usually because if not in London, then where? London feels alive and exciting over fashion week with the fashion industry insiders and bloggers on the streets being photographed for their creative and statement styling. As ever my ethos is that I feel more confident if I am comfortable, well, okay that’s excluding high heels, but feeling uncomfortable in what you wear is the absolute worst.
This week over on the blog, come with me to London Fashion Week, on a shoot where I was photographed for By Sarah Haran’s new campaign and to the Hill & Friends shop opening in Mayfair; it has been a busy few weeks!
