Tuesday, was a very productive day.
Beginning:
I had an early morning pop in to River Island and Topshop to pull looks for an InStyle shoot I am working on. Lots of cutesy pastel colours, pyjama suits and point heels (note: will be in the magazines July issue.)
Middle:
I went for a very really rather exciting meeting, although I can’t say a lot more at this stage but I can say that I saw my TV dream man, the king of TV journalism, Louis Theroux (very tall, geeky/cool) I watched the first of his new doc. series ‘Extreme Love – 1. Autism’ the night before so I desperate to go over and attack him with questions, but the shy in me took over and I didn’t (*coward*)
Tune into iplayer if you haven’t watched this already, it’s brilliant, as is he: http://www.bbc.co.uk/iplayer/episode/b01gk4xc/Louis_Theroux_Louis_Theroux_Extreme_Love_Autism/
Later middle:
In the afternoon I was lucky enough to have a tour of the Breakthrough Breast Cancer laboratories, but I plan to write a full post of this, it was awe inspiring. *watch this space*
End:
For the evening, after a quick pit stop into Topshop to reapply lipstick and powder my nose, I went with Carly and Becca (my darling friends and agents) to the jewellery launch of FlashTrash, the uber-cool jewellery label that is stocked at Oxygen Boutique (Eastcastle Street, just down from Oxford Circus)
It was a busy crowd of bright brand enthusiasts and fashion photographers, taking photos of the new season collections, outrageous shoes and of course, the covetable jewels.
