The magic of the white shirt is that it can be worn in a plethora of ways; from spring to winter it is the hardest working item of clothing in my wardrobe. The styling options are endless, from wearing a white shirt alone with a leather pencil, underneath a jumpsuit for cool workwear or layered underneath chunky knits for a touch of tailoring in winter; there is a reason it has become a wardrobe essential, along with the trench, tailored trouser and Breton tee.
